1) What is vector art?
Vector art is art using a series of geometric and mathematical equations in order to have a piece that can be scaled or printed with clean lines. 2) Why would you want to use vector art (Illustrator)? Vector art is able to be scaled larger or smaller without worrying about the resolution being affected. The clean lines will stay clean no matter how you print or change the image. 3) Do you find Illustrator easier or more difficult than Photoshop? Right now I think that Photoshop is easier to use than Illustrator. I have gotten used to the tools and commands of Photoshop, and although many of them are the same, some of the things differ drastically and I am still getting used to it. The tool layout is also unfamiliar and it is uncomfortable not having a brush size changer or a color wheel on the side.
